What the calculators do with your inputs
Nothing leaves your device. Guest counts, cuts, serve times, brine percentages — every
calculation on this site runs as JavaScript in your browser. Inputs are not sent to a
server, logged, or stored by us. The tools remember your last entries in your
browser’s localStorage (on your device, removable by clearing site data)
so a returning cook can skip re-typing.
Cookies and analytics
We don’t set tracking cookies. If we ever add analytics, it will be privacy-preserving, aggregate-only measurement (page counts, not people), and this page will say so.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which — like any host — sees standard request metadata (IP address, user agent) in the course of serving pages and maintains its own privacy policy.
A note on the numbers
Quantities, cook times, and food-safety temperatures on this site are planning guidance drawn from USDA recommendations and widely accepted barbecue practice. Always verify doneness with a thermometer — it’s your cook, and your thermometer has the final word.
